Our Inside Diamond: schools open days, offers a chance for students in KS5 or equivalent ages to find out more about Diamond via a talk and tour of our facility, given by members of staff.
Our Inside Diamond: schools virtual visits provides an opportunity for an individual class or school to tour Diamond Light Source online at a time to suit you and your students.
Every year, in collaboration with STFC, Diamond co-hosts two 'in your future' events to help inspire students in KS4 and KS5 to explore and consider future careers in science and engineering.
Diamond is part of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory at Harwell Campus. STFC organises a range of exciting opportunities for schools on site, many of which include activities with Diamond.
Diamond Light Source is the UK's national synchrotron science facility, located at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire.
